Halo Eye Technique!

Hey everyone!

Today i thought i would add in a look i did the other night!

i thought one night before i was going to have a shower, that i would try something different on my eyes. As you guys know, i am a creature of habit, and tend to stick to the same looks, so i wanted to experiment a little.

I will apoligise for the dark photos, as i did do this look at night, and by that time my face makeup wasnt looking fab. It was a long, hot day, so at this time i was ready to take off my makeup.

I really wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone, and i encourage all you guys to aswell! It is after all, only makeup! You can wash it right off like it never even happened! haha!

I wanted to try out the 'halo' technique on myself. Which adds darkness to the inner and outer corners of the eye, rather than just the outer corner. I wasn't sure how it would look on my small hooded eyes, but i wanted to give it a go anyway!

Please ignore my messy brows! haha!

I ended up using my Stila, 'Eyes are the Window' Palette in 'Soul'.

I went in with the shadows 'individual' and 'heart' mixed together into my crease, and brang those colours quite far into the inner corner of my eyes. I then went in with the shadow 'being' from the Soul palette and placed this colour on the inner and outer corners. Slowly building the colour and blending as i went. I then used the Inglot Eyeshadow in '153' on the centre of my lids, and applied it with a little bit of Mac Fix+ to enhance the colour!

I also took the colours 'individual' and 'heart' and placed these colours underneath my lower lash line. I then took a little bit of the colour 'being' and placed this underneath my lower lash line, as close as i could get it to my lashes. Make sure to blend all of these colours well! I loved the look!

The colours looked amazing together! I will say though, these colours looked very dark against my pale skin, but that could have been me just not being used to these dark colours! I will try it out again for sure, and see how i feel about it this time around!

Have you tried out the 'Halo' technique?

Let me know down below!

Thank you for reading!
