Hello again guys!
Todays post is going to be about my thoughts on the M.a.c Studio Fix Fluid Foundation!
This was the first foundation i ever purchased from M.a.c, and the first high end foundation i ever purchased as well!
I was so excited when purchasing this foundation, and knew well before i took the plunge (a $50 plunge!), that it was a full coverage foundation. I prefer full coverage foundations as i personally feel if i'm going to do my makeup, i may as well go all out! Its either full face of makeup, or no makeup at all!

This foundation is spf15, oil controlling and has a matte finish. I was not aware of the many finishes of foundations when i purchased this, and i did not take into consideration my dry skin!
I do not need a foundation with oil control, as i really don't produce much oil at all. I soon found out the matte finish foundations would not work for my skin, as i need as much moisture as possible to stop my makeup from looking cakey and dry. I purchased the foundation in the shade Nw10, which i think is possibly the lightest shade they have in foundations.
I used this foundation for a while and l liked the way it applied as well the full coverage effect it gave my skin.
However, by the end of the day, my skin had basically absorbed all the foundation and left my skin looking patchy, uneven and dry. Also, i noticed the shade of foundation was washing me out completely - even though i am extremely pale, it just didn't look right for my skin.

I will say, this foundation does not come with a pump! Which, in my opinion, if they are going to put a $50 price tag on it, it should come with a pump! If you want a pump, you can purchase one separately from M.a.c for $10! That seems a little steep for a simple foundation pump!

When swatching this foundation, it looks slightly orange/warm tone, however, in person, it is very pink toned. I believe it looks this way because of the lighting (bare with me as i learn ways to improve!- if you have any advice, leave it down below!)
The colour also blends out really nicely!

My final thoughts on this product- It blends out beautifully and easily, and sits really well on the skin. My skin absorbs the product quickly, so therefore i would highly recommend this foundation for those who have combination to oily skin due to the matte finish and it being oil controlling. I should have researched more before purchasing this foundation as it is made for those with combination to oily skin, not my dry skin!
Do you have any foundation recommendations for dry skin?
Have you tried the M.a.c Studio Fix Fluid foundation? What were your thoughts?
